Onyx And YOO Team Up For Phuket And Bali

Thailand’s Onyx Hospitality Group has signed a partnership agreement to operate YOO branded properties in Asia.

YOO Hotels and Resorts in Asia feature the YOO Collection and Yoo2 monikers.

From the onset YOO who are a design-based group formed by John Hitchcox and Philippe Starck has struggled to find a management solution internally for their offerings.

The Onyx deal is in many ways a white label management deal, but will also allow brand extension.

Both the Bali and Phuket hotels are expected to open in 2019.
