Outrigger Signs Luxury Koh Samui Hotel

Rapidly expanding Hawaiian hotel chain Outrigger have signed an agreement to manage an upscale 81 key suite and villa property on the resort island of Koh Samui.
Named the Outrigger Koh Samui Resort and Spa in Bhoput, the property was formerly operating as Destination Beach Resort. It will be reflagged effective February 1st.
The 5 -star property includes pool access rooms, pool villas, restaurant and a wellness center.
Outrigger which has established a fully staffed Asia Pacific office in Phuket under Thailand's ROH (regional operating headquarters) has a strong pipeline most notably in Bali, Vietnam, China and Australia.
Speaking to Darren Edmonstone the group's Senior Vice President for Asia Pacific the chain is expecting 2011 to be a banner year for expansion given a growing critical mass of hotels and resorts under the brand.
