PABUK UPDATE Storm Passes, High-Season Resumes

Despite widespread concern over a massive impact from tropical storm Pabuk, Southern Thailand tourism is back to business.

This morning Koh Samui Airport is open and Bangkok Airways has added flights to alleviate passenger disruption.

In Phuket there was minimal rain overnight and the new norm is a return to high season.

While there have been comments about the significant action by the government about disaster prevention, protecting tourists safety is a strong positive and should be viewed in a favorable light especially concerning marine safety.
