Park Hyatt Coming To Bangkok

After years the Grand Hyatt's predominance as the brand's best property in Bangkok may be challenged with the announcement of a new Park Hyatt under development.
Reaching an agreement with Central Retail Corporation a 36 story 222-room luxury property will open in 2014. A project cost of THB5 billion has been reported for the hotel, which will be located in the mixed use Central Embassy complex.
Located at the former site of the British Embassy, the location is a prime area along Ploenchit.
As news of a Waldorf Astoria in the pipeline near to the existing Grand Hyatt Bangkok's appetite for luxury hotels seems endless.
