Phuket Domestic Terminal Under Renovation

Category: Tourism, Posted:05 Nov 2016 | 11:56 am

If you are taking a domestic flight to and from Phuket, the current partial closing of the old terminal is causing  widespread confusion.

With the opening of the new terminal building, the old terminal is under renovation for 330 days from November 1st.

Domestic flights have been relocated to the smaller annex building of the old terminal to the North, this was where Tiger and Jetstar flights used to check in.

Also the former access to the  parking structure has been closed, so if parking you need to go into the new main entrance of the international terminal and complete a circle to park.

For Domestic flights, the entrance is now where the exit used to be for the old terminal.

Sounds confusing? Yes, so arrive early to find your way. Construction work has caused a considerable fluid situation.

Parking is becoming an issue, with the ground floor of the structure now used for offices.

And if you park and want to go to domestic, be prepared for a hike.

Welcome to the longest year.
