Despite tourism numbers skyrocketing, a dramatic rise in the hotel pipeline over the past few years and cheap airline seats to nearly every leisure destination spells good news for travelers.
Most experts are forecasting a numbers game for the remainder of 2011 and focus on quantity versus quality. Or more concise its occupancy growth against rate and RevPar in the world of volume dilution.
Rate analysts remain blinded by the headlight of oncoming traffic – where clearly it's a buyers and not a sellers market.
