Phuket Residents And Tourists Nighttime Restrictions

In a guideline issued by the Phuket Governor, residents and tourists are being asked to stay in their homes or hotel rooms from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m. daily until further notice.

The government guideline for Phuket province takes effect Saturday March 28thand does reference an exception for urgent trips outside.  

Additionally, the announcement references that inspections will be conducted on travelers to other provinces.

For now, the COVID-19 crisis has created a shifting landscape in local and national regulations, with the expectation that there are more to come.
