Phuket Villa Resort Targets Luxury Weddings

Phuket’s The Shore at Katathani is undergoing an expansion and upgrading to capture the growing wedding and romantic getaway market.

The property is adding 33 new pool villas that are targeting completion by November, which will raise the total hotel inventory to 81 villas.

Another addition is a destination wedding chapel that can accommodate 36 persons and themed touchpoints such as a kissing point and wishing well.

In addition to the added facilities the property was closed for three months to add a new lobby, common pool and relocated the spa.
