Phuket's MICE City Initiative

The recent agreement between Phuket's provincial government and TCEB (Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau) is aiming to prioritize the all important meeting and incentive sector.
As the island's hotel supply continues to surge the need for market segmentation and diversity is drawing much attention by tourism related businesses in order to provide for a sustainable growth model.
Aside from the development in Mai Khao of the new Phuket International Convention and Exhibition Center the initiative calls for promotion of the island and joint sharing of information and strategies in order to accelerate competitiveness of the destination.
TCEB is the government's dedicated strategic organization for MICE business in the country.
