Pigs On The Loose

A new book written by Chinese national Yunmei (Echo) Wang called "Pigs on the Loose: Chinese Tour Groups" is causing quite a media stir.
Wang has taken a strong stance that a good number of Chinese traveling abroad are rude, obnoxious, badly behaved and generally a poor reflection on the country.
The E-book which is available online has created a good amount of controversy in China and the results are mixed.
The book features the authors opinion on a wide range of travel topics including Chinese Image, Tour Groups, and her analogy of Chinese travellers as Pigs covers behavior at airports, airplanes, restaurants, toilets, pollution, shopping, religion and the internet.
All in all a pretty brash and judgmental piece but certainly worth checking out.
