REMINDER AMCHAM Tourism Event This Friday

Just a reminder that this Friday October 30th will be the Greater Phuket Chapter of the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) tourism event.
The venue is the Outrigger Resort Laguna Phuket and session will feature leading global hotel market intelligence firm STR Global. This is the real opportunity to see inside the Phuket hotel numbers and understand what is happening with rates and occupancy.
STR’s Jesper Palmqvist who is Singapore-based and Area Director for Asia Pacific will present hotel data on the island’s hospitality performance along with comparisons to other key regional resort destinations.
In addition Outrigger Resort’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing Mark Simmons will speak about how to manage room rate volatility in Phuket’s evolving mass tourism sector.
Registration starts at 4:30 pm and the event runs from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm with networking drinks to follow. The cost is THB100.
