Samui Flights Remain Grounded

Bangkok Airways has continued to suspend all flights to and from the resort island of Koh Samui for a second day.
Speaking to the airline this morning they have asked any passengers to call in the afternoon should the weather clear and flights could possibly resume.
Yesterday transport links were marred by mass cancellations of air service and ferries.
Large scale flooding is being reported by hoteliers in Samui, along with stranded guests unable to depart.
Southern Thailand has experienced severe rain over the past few days. Flights at Phuket International Airport are continuing to operate.
