Samui Set For Direct China Flights

The resort destination of Samui is about to get a boost in its international airlift with direct flights from China.
Leading mainland carrier China Southern Airlines will operate two weekly flights from Guangzhou starting March 20th.
Service will be on Tuesday and Friday and utilize and Airbus A319 aircraft.
According to our market research at C9 Hotelworks China in 2011 was the leading growth market to Samui with a 136% rise over the previous year based on visitor arrivals.
This month will also see Bangkok Airways commence daily flights from the island to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia
