Category: Hotels, Posted:13 Jun 2012 | 06:00 am

Hospitality site Hotels.com has released the Club Sandwich Index (CSI) which ranks top cities around the world.
Topping the index is Paris where the average cost is USD33 followed in close succession by Geneva Switzerland, Oslo Norway and Tokyo Japan.
Surprising news is that London which is often ranked, as one of the most expensive destinations is only 9th.
From the bottom two with an average cost of USD10 is India's New Delhi and Mexico City.
Interesting that Singapore weighs in at the halfway marker at USD15.
Methodology for the rankings was a weighted sampling from 5, 4 and 3 star hotels in each city.
