SINGAPORE INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT Resorts World Sentosa Opens

The much touted opening of Singapore's new casino located at Sentosa Island sees the Resorts World complex open today. Four properties with 1,340 rooms are on offer including the Hard Rock Hotel.
The casino gaming operation is anticipating its debut in March ahead of the Marina Bay Sands project. A world class theme park Universal Studios which is a major drawing card will be opening in the next few months as well.
For Asia's regional tourism market Singapore looks to become a competitor with Phuket and Bali in certain segments of the business and continued to create a series of new demand generators which will fuel long term growth.
