Here's one for fans of the recent film “It Might Get Loud" featuring Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page, U2 wizard 'The Edge' and White Stripes Jack White. Leading name Gibson have launched a line of Les Paul exotic wood guitars using sustainable smartwood.
Rather then harvesting trees from the rainforest, the new guitars all come from renewable forest project and are certified by leading environmental advocate Rainforest Alliance. While we all know Jimmy played the Les Paul on Stairway to Heaven, it's great to see more iconic brands recognizing the importance of sustainability which add up to smart business.
