Social Media Uproar Over Krabi Treegate

Thailand's social media recently vented rage over the cutting down of a massive Monkey Jack tree to be used for an art project.
A local landowner became embroiled in the headlights are deciding to cut down the tree and give it to a local politician.
Aside from environmental concerns, politics has been added into the toxic mixture.
Bizarrely the outcome is that the tree sculpture will be themed as with a conversation twist.
Double standard? You bet.
