Standard Hotels For Phuket, Bangkok, Hua Hin and Pattaya

Standard Hotels CEO Amar Lalvani has made public plans for branded properties in four key Thai destinations – Phuket, Bangkok, Hua Hin and Pattaya.

According to an interview in Hotels magazine, the expansion in Asia has been fueled by Sansiri PCL’s investment of USD58 million into Standard.

Lalvani also said the group will open a property in the Maldives in 2019, and Jakarta is in the pipeline as well.

Given the Sansiri connection expect a number of projects to include hotel branded residences.
