Strong Buyer Interest In Patong Hotel Sale

According to CBRE Thailand there strong interest from bidders for the former Courtyard by Marriott Hotel in Patong. Potential buyers are from a wide geographical area and the Patong 390-room hotel has attracted strong local, regional and international interest.
The Patong hotel and Hard Rock Caf and Shop Patong which is also being separately offered for sale. Many investors are looking to international operators to re-brand this property given that it is being sold free with vacant possession (i.e. no management contract).
Both properties are being brokered by CBRE Thailand on an exclusive tender basis with a deadline of March 1st for prospective buyers.
