Suarga Set To Hit Sustainable Spotlight

Category: , Posted:23 Feb 2015 | 06:00 am

I'm in Bali now and one of the truly innovative new hotel projects to watch is Suarga.
The brainchild of Belgian entrepreneur Frederik Wittesaele, Suarga is located on a stunning oceanfront piece of land overlooking Uluwatu Bali's famed Padang Padang surf break.
With the ability to operate entirely off the grid, the hotel has been lovingly constructed from recycled wood from all over Indonesia.
Solar power is featured as is a natural air conditioning system called "Evening Breeze.
After taking a number of years to complete the upscale sustainable resort will be opening it's doors in the second quarter of this year.
We expect big things from Suarga and finally a hospitality developer has put sustainability squarely on the front burner.
