Thai Airways Given European Reprieve

Category: Tourism, Posted:12 Dec 2015 | 09:33 am

Thailand’s legacy airline carrier was saved by the bell as EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) will not impose flight sanctions.

As an alternate to a ban, EASA is focused on Thai Airways International reviewing progress and working on a stepped process towards safety improvements.

Making recent headline was Thai’s downgrade by the ICAO and FAA, with concerns that the issue could spiral further.

That said, Thai is mired in mounting financial losses and in all likelihood the wolf a the door is most likely the  questionable economic reality of whether the airline can return to the black.?
