Legacy carrier Thai Airlines is struggling to keep pace with the influx of bold and beautiful new low-cost airline carriers.
In a move aimed at spurring voluntary retirement for female flight attendants over the age of 45 an early separation package will be offered. Currently the mandatory retirement age is 60.
As the airline tries to keep pace with the upstart airlines, there is no word about plans to discontinue the much maligned white bread and spinach sandwich in a plastic wrapper which continues to haunt passengers.
