Thai Hotel Group Pushing Expansion Abroad

Emerging Thai-founded Hospitality Management and Development (HMD) Asia will debut their first managed property at the beginning of November.

The Treeline Urban Resort in Siem Reap Cambodia features 48 keys and the design was led by Cambodian Hok Yang.

HMD Asia was founded by Sokoun Chanpreda of Shinta Mani fame and the team includes Bill Bensley and Jason Friedman.

On the horizon are more boutique hotel and restaurant projects, so expect to hear more about this design-focused operator.
