Thai Launching Regularly Scheduled Flights From Europe To Phuket

The island's airlift story continues to brighten as national carrier Thai Airways International will start direct flights from Europe to the island on November 11th.
Three weekly flights aboard a Boeing 747-400 will ply the Copenhagen to Phuket route.
From an analysis of 2010's tourism numbers, while the important market of Sweden declined for the year, Denmark grew and was assisted by Norway as key replacement markets for Scandinavian travel to Phuket.
