In the land of constant compromise the national flag carrier Thai Airways International has taken the moderate route and spit orders between the two industrial giants Boeing and Airbus.
As part of its long needed modernization process eight Boeing 777-330ER jets and seven Airbus A330-300 aircraft have been ordered.
Long term Thai is set to start grandfathering out its aging fleet of B747-400's in the next few years and looks to be using a mix of the B777-300ER and also Airbus A380's.
