Thai Vietjet To Boost Phuket Airlift

New low-cost carrier Thai Vietjet Air is set to start flights between Phuket and Chiang Rai in mid-September.

There is also a plan to introduce service between Phuket and Ho Chi Minh City.

Rising number of flights into the island will be bolstered by the opening of the new international terminal at Phuket’s airport in September.

Vietnam is currently in the midst of a tourism and economic rebirth that is attracting both visitors and businesses from regional and long haul destinations
