Thailand's China Visa Free Waiver

Thailand's NCPO has created a visa free initiative for travelers to the Kingdom from China and Taiwan.
The move is meant to boost tourism numbers which hard turbulent weather in June.
A three month trial period from the beginning of August to end of October has been put in place.
Upon expiration of the waiver the NCPO has said they will review the results and determine is an extension will be made.
Thailand is looking to make up lost ground in its campaign to spur the recovery of the tourism sector.
Clearly targeting the China mass market is an attractive 'fish where the fish are' strategic move.
