Thailand's Minor Sri Lankan Expansion

Bill Heineke's hospitality focused Minor International Group have made a strategic investment into the developing Sri Lankan hotel industry back of a reported USD11.6 million deal inked with Cyprea Lanka Ltd.
Currently the group owns a 3 star 110 room asset and has a 25 rai site for a new five star property which looks to be developed into an Anantara branded resort.
The Thai based ground is one of many who are looking further afield to grow their footprints and also diversify from being Thai-centric in their hotel portfolios.
