Thai hospitality group Onyx Hospitality will open a 120 villa Maldives resort in the first quarter of 2016.
Named the Amari Havodda, the property is being developed by Crystal Plaza Resorts.
In a recent TTG Asia news piece CEO Peter Henley recent said Onxy wants to reduce it's leveraging in the Thai market but targeting seventy per cent of their
hotel inventory to be located outside of the country.
As for the Maldives the group is following in the steps of other Thailand based operators such as Anantara, Dusit and Centara into what is one of the worlds most lucrative hotel markets.
