Thailand's Tourism To Focus On Big Five

Plans are being laid out by Thailand's tourism officials to focus on five key destinations this year.
Each is supposedly earmarked with a specific deliverable strategy and niche.
These are – Phuket as a MICE center, Pattaya for sports and families, eco-tourism in the North focusing on Nan, Koh Phangan for parties and activities and yes Bangkok is included.
The latter will refocus again on the city's riverfront and historical offerings, along with retail therapy of course.
As for the rest of Thailand's many quality destinations, there is always next year.
