Thailand’s Wellness Market Surging

A new report by our friends at Horwath HTL Health and Wellness has put numbers on Thailand’s fast paced wellness market.

For hoteliers the report gives great insight into offerings that often require a hospitality component, such as aesthetic surgery, anti-aging treatments and detox.

Hotel owners are now faced with but the challenges and opportunities of moving past the traditional spa business which has frankly been done to death, and pivoting to a new business model.

Properties need to start looking at niche segments or offering to drive higher rates, create unique selling propositions and drive a longer length of stay.
