Thanyapura Opening Second Property In Mainland China

Phuket’s Thanyapura integrated sports and health resort is set to expand to a second property in Sanya, China.

Dubbed the Hawaii of China, Hainan Island attracts over 30 million visitors annually with the primary feeder market being the Mainland.

The Sanya resort is located on a 58-hectare site which will include 300 hotel keys, 250 villas and an extensive array of facilities focused on sports as well as a lifestyle medical and wellness clinic.

An initial phase of development is slated to open in 2022.

Using a Singapore-based company, Thanyapura World is exploring a number of broader expansion opportunities both in Thailand and globally.
