The Search For Thainess

Category: Tourism, Posted:27 Nov 2014 | 06:00 am

Apparently Thailand is no long Amazing. Tell Grace.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is embarking on a new global campaign in 2015 to Discover Thainess.
An expressed goal is to regain and in fact surpass arrival numbers which this year are likely to be in the area of 25 million, and pump up the figures next year to 28 million. (Last year was over 26 million)
Part of the new strategy is aimed at tertiary location such as Buri Ram, Trat and Chanthaburi.
Apparently the secondary destinations in the country targeted have more Thainess but are not necesaily Amazing.
If anyone sees Amazing Thailand, please ask them to call home soon.
