Tiger Airways Banned From Oz Skies Over Safety Issue

All Tiger Airways domestic flights within Australia have been grounded by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority of that country until at least July 9th.
Citing a "serious and imminent risk" to public safety, and the future of the subsidiary of the Singapore -based airline remains a question market should the ban continue for a sustained period.
Many domestic passengers within Australia have been inconvenienced though inter-Asia flights remain unaffected.
Singapore Airlines is a major partner in the parent company. and plans for a venture called Thai Tiger in Thailand with Thai Airways International have been delayed over the past six months.
