Tourist Attraction Madame Tussauds Opening In Bangkok

Internationally recognized for it's legendary London wax museum who's origins date back to the 1800' Madam Tussauds is coming to Thailand. The Bangkok attraction is located on the upper floors of Siam Discovery, next to uber commercial center Siam Paragon.
Using Thailand's Board of Investment (BoI) scheme a project cost of over THB500 million baht has been disclosed by the promoters.
Customer projections are being touted as targeting 500,000 visitors during the initial operating year back of an admission price of THB700.
Another nearby attraction is Siam Ocean World at Siam Paragon.
Tussaud's parent company UK based Merlin Entertainments Group also have a development pipeline in Asia which includes the much anticipated Legoland Theme Park in Malaysia's Johor Bahru. Accessible from nearby Singapore, the park will open in two years.
Phuket continues to see few significant tourism attractions under planning. With the current shift to more short haul source markets there is mounting pressure by activity demanding regional visitors.
