Tourist Emergency Fund Proposed

Thailand's Tourism Ministry hopes to implement a THB50 million emergency fund to assist injured visitors to the country by the beginning of February.
The proposal still needs to be presented to the Finance Ministry.
Given the rise in tourism numbers, serious accidents and fatalities are becoming more commonplace in the current mass-market surge.
