Two New Phuket Boutique Hotels For High Season  

A set of two  new island boutique hotels have opened in time for the island’s high season.

First is the upgraded and reopened Manathai featuring Sino-Portuguese style and attention to local flavor by design firm CDC.

While in Kata the 68 room  Nook Dee is telling travelers smaller is better.

Here, local style is matched with an international  slant, though the emphasis is on  modern Thai materials and themes

Both properties are part of an evolving model to create smaller niche hotels amidst the every growing Phuket mainstream accommodation market.
