Vietnam May Allow Locals To Gamble

In the wake of a massive failures in the country's budding gaming industry, Vietnam might change rules to allow locals to gamble.
After the departure of MGM from Ho Tram and Resorts World pulling out of a project near Danang, the country is having a casino re-think.
Nearby Cambodia, Singapore and Macau all play heavily into attracting Vietnamese gamblers.
News outlets are reporting that a draft resolution is in circulation which would allow locals to gamble, though rules are being discussed.
For now, the introduction of casinos to attract only foreigners in Vietnam has not be a recipe for success.
