Bali has one. So does nearby Samui. Singapore. Hong Kong. Even Bangkok.
For now Phuket does not have its very own palace of hotel chic – Starwood's W brand.
Rumors have swirled for years at locations such as Natai, just over the Sarasin Bridge and other sightings.
I'd imagine though in the coming years, there would be WoW on our island; in this day and age of Asia's economic powerhouses it's only a matter of time.
