French hotel giant ACCOR who's internet sales events have become a key low season strategy each year, have generated over three quarters of a million web visitors in a day.
The Super Sale promotion which ran from June 16th achieved 200,000 bookings which is based on largely discounted prepaid room nights.
For hotel struggling with a slow summer season, the cash friendly strategy of receiving payment upfront often gives lagging operating cash flows an added boost.
