World Heritage Anniversary For Bay

Vietnam's Ha Long Bay has celebrated it's UNESCO status as a World Natural Heritage site for the past twenty years.
A number of promotions are taking place along with preservation seminars and other timely events.
Phang Nga Bay is also a WNH site, sharing similar characteristics with its Vietnamese counterpart.
As for Phuket Town's ongoing talks about cultural preservation status, there is little momentum sadly at present given the present beach focus of the island.
