Pacific Century Premium Developments (PCPD) and Hyatt unveiled ONE HANAZONO VILLAS in Niseko, Japan on 1 September 2026, marking the first Park Hyatt-branded villas in the country. The project sits in the Hanazono area and comprises 13 individually separated residences, each spanning 700 to 1,000 square meters (7,500 to 10,400 square feet) with four to six ensuite bedrooms, a private driveway, a secluded garden and views of Mount Yotei.
Architecture is by Kengo Kuma, interiors by André Fu Studio (AFSO). The villas share a private clubhouse with ski-in, ski-out access and an après-ski lounge, managed by Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono. Show villas are scheduled for completion in winter 2026, according to the PCPD and Hyatt announcement.
Park Hyatt’s choice of Niseko for its first branded villa concept in Japan underscores the resort’s status as one of Asia’s leading alpine luxury property markets. Pairing an architecture and interior design team of this caliber with a branded villa product raises the design standard for the destination’s next wave of alpine residential development.
C9 Hotelworks has advised on hospitality and branded residence projects in Niseko and continues to work with developers assessing new opportunities across Japan’s alpine markets, from product positioning and design brief through to operating structure and rental management.
